Two-sided hiring platform
As a consultant at Cyber Design AB, I designed this two-sided hiring app — one product serving both job seekers and employers. The first challenge was the entry point: how do you split two very different user journeys from the same screen without making either feel like an afterthought? The answer was a clear, confident role-selection screen that sets the tone immediately. From there, employers get a swipeable candidate list; candidates get a detailed profile view with the information they actually need to make a decision.
The dark navy backdrop was a functional choice as much as a visual one — it reduces eye strain for users spending extended time browsing candidates, and it gives profile photos the contrast they need to stand out. Accessibility standards guided the font sizing and contrast throughout, making sure the app works for a wide range of users, not just the assumed average.
