Online Grocery App

Freelance on-demand grocery delivery

A freelance project for an online grocery delivery service — designed from the ground up, which meant every decision was mine to make and defend. I started with the onboarding and sign-in flow, because first impressions in grocery apps matter more than people think: if the entry feels clunky, users assume the shopping will be too. The store grid and product detail page were built around a simple question — what does someone need to see before they add something to their cart? The answer shaped the entire layout.

The fresh green palette was chosen carefully: light enough to feel clean, saturated enough to communicate "food" without being aggressive. Font sizes and contrast were validated against WCAG AA throughout, and the spacing was kept generous so the app feels comfortable to browse — not like a vending machine.
